DENA SAMOSKA
CFO
Dena Samoska is the newest member to join M&O Companies’ management team, having served as their Chief Financial Officer since 2019. Prior to coming to M&O, Dena spent most of her 25-year career in construction accounting departments, primarily serving General Contracting, HVAC, and Industrial industries.
Dena earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Finance from the Gies College of Business at University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana. After working her first few years as an entry-level accountant at a specialty contractor in South Chicagoland, Dena was promoted to Accounting Manager in order to facilitate company expansion and growth.
Throughout her career, Dena has made progressive movements, focusing on bridging the gap between Operations, Sales and Finance. Dena takes pride in introducing new ideas to improve processes and procedures, and has piloted and implemented several new software programs as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Dena’s forward focus is to collaborate with the leaders at M&O to build and expand our reach in new markets across the United States.
Dena is been a longtime resident of New Lenox, Illinois, where she raised her family of two daughters into adulthood. Dena is an avid traveler and eagerly visits at least one of her “bucket List” places per year.
